    1970'S SERBIAN NAVIP WOODEN CANTEEN FLASK

    PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS DESCRIPTION. Vintage (1970’s) EMPTY canteen, hand made in Serbia (part of Yugoslavia at the time) as a special limited edition for the famous Serbian brandy manufacturer Navip. Traditional folk-art styling shaped as a miniature reproduction of a traditional oak wooden barrel. The wooden canteen is reinforced with metal straps and has four metal legs for displaying as well as a colorful woven shoulder strap with a weaving pattern typical of traditional Serbian folk outfit belts/shoulder carrying bags. The inside of this canteen has a round (750ml) glass bottle and includes the original twist-off bottle cap and the wooden top.
