Free 💚 - A Pair of Mystery Handles

Found in the garage of our new house when we moved in. I do not know exactly what they are, but possibly they are handles for some sort of exercise equipment? They are in excellent condition, like new, and rather heavy for their size - about 12-14 inches across (suitcase in background for scale). Perhaps someone out there knows what they are for and can use them!
