Pinguicula emarginata x weser 3 plants in a small takeout container, each plant is around 4 cm in diameter. A cute rosette-shaped carnivorous plant that’s great for pest control. Its leaves produce a sticky substance that traps small flies, fungus gnats, etc. After the bug gets stuck on a leaf, the plant will slowly absorb it over time. The last picture is the mother plant. Given the right conditions, it will produce purple flowers. Light requirement: high light, needs to be grown right next to a sunny window or under a grow light. I’ve tried to grow it in lower light conditions but I find that less light makes the leaves stretched out and the leaves no longer make the sticky residue. Substrate: I have it growing in moss, but I think they can also be grown on lava rock or carnivorous plant-specific soil. They’re from bog-like environments that are so devoid of nutrients that they’ve evolved to become carnivorous so if they’re grown in regular houseplant soil, the nutrients in the soil might be overwhelming. Watering: Whenever the moss gets dry. It likes humidity, so it’s suitable to be grown in a terrarium. Willing to trade or sell for $8.
