Stokke Care Changing Table

We love this premium changing table because it is sturdy, great looking, made of solid beechwood, and converts easily to a desk or shelf using an allen key because of the height adjustability. Also, having your child looking right at you (laying vertical instead of horizontal) is more comfortable for the child and parent. This is not your typical change table. It’s one of those pieces of furniture that people KNOW is not cheap. And when new, it certainly isn’t. Sadly, kids grow up so fast. This Stokke is in wonderful condition for its age. It’s been stored indoors in a pet and smoke free home. The beechwood is damage free. There are no rips of any kind on the change pad. Comes with 2 genuine Stokke side baskets. This is the older previous model that did not come with the textile baskets but is bigger than the new one and does come with the soft changing pad and wheels. The wheels are very important because you don’t have to lift it to move around. More important info direct from Stokke: The Stokke® Care™ Changing Table was originally introduced in 2001, followed in 2009 by the release of the current model. There are a few noteworthy differences between the models. The previous model had caster wheels which are not present on the current model, but the latter was fitted with additional textile storage baskets. The size differs somewhat, with the new model being somewhat narrower than the original one. Accessories for the original model Care™ are no longer available. The current mattress and storage baskets can be used on the 2001 model, but please note they do not present a perfect fit, leaving space on either side due to the difference in dimensions between the two models.
