Vintage Dorset 5th Ave.. Gold Tone Floral Compact

Vintage face powder compact looks to be from the 1930s or early 1940s and was made by the famous Dorset Fifth Avenue. Made of gold tone metal with a satin finish, this piece has a lovely gold flower wreath printed on the cover. There is a round push button clasp which leads to an interior with a glass mirror inside the cover and a powder well inside the base. The powder well has the original powder screen and some original loose powder make up is still inside. The Original puff is a soft fuzzy pink pillow style puff with a pink ribbon handle that is marked Dorset Fifth Avenue. the bottom of the compact is a gold tone metal with an etched square with a share design
