Antique Louis XVI Style Bergère Armchair

Recently reupholstered in Grey Velvet with faux diamond trim and used as my “throne” in my classroom as well as as a prop in our school stage productions. Some signs of wear and cosmetic damage from before it was regilded and upholstered. Very large seat and beautiful carved details and fluted legs. Frame is carved wood with a plaster coating that has been gilded. I believe it to be 1910’s or 20’s but could be older. Definitely in a 1700’s style Late Baroque or Georgian.
