Little Red Riding Hood by Dianna Effners 1988 Edwin M Knowles & Ashton Drake Galleries. As seen in the pictures, Red comes with her own little basket, stand and red hood that comes on and off with a little clip. She is around 14- 15” tall and comes with brown curly hair. She comes with a stand. She has on black socks and shoes. Her dress is plaid and she has a little apron on. She is wearing the little red riding hood cape, with an eye hook at the top, under a red bow and she has her basket full of food. Throughout this entire time she has never been on display and is in excellent unused condition as a result. Red continues to have both of her original boxes as well. She comes from the Heroines from the Fairy Tale Forest of the Brothers Grimm Collection product line. Red’s doll mold was broken in 1988 and is therefore no longer being mass produced. Manufactured in China. Part of a large estate sale where dolls were in storage.
