Stunning Mid-Century Modern gateleg drop-leaf dining table from the iconic "Roomates" line by Baumritter (the celebrated American maker that later became Ethan Allen). The table top has been completely stripped, finely sanded, re-stained in a rich walnut tone, and sealed with a fresh, durable topcoat for daily use. The base features smooth-swinging gateleg supports and classic MCM tapered legs in excellent structural condition. Extremely versatile and perfect for small spaces, city dining rooms, or apartments. It folds down into a slim console footprint or expands wide to comfortably seat guests. Condition: Freshly refinished top; sturdy frame with minor vintage character on legs. Construction: Real wood veneer top with four-panel design and solid tapered legs.
