Vintage 1930s–40s Dee & Cee Composition Baby Doll 🇨🇦

This vintage baby doll was made by Dee & Cee Toy Company of Toronto, Ontario, one of Canada’s earliest and most beloved doll manufacturers. Founded in the 1930s, Dee & Cee produced high-quality toys during the pre-plastic era. This particular doll dates to the late 1930s or early 1940s. Dee & Cee became known for their charming, lifelike baby dolls that mirrored popular American designs but carried their own unique Canadian character. Features: Marked “DEE AN CEE - MADE IN CANADA” on the back of the neck (authentic maker’s mark) Composition head and limbs with soft cloth body Hand-painted facial features and molded curls Sleep eyes (currently stationary from age) Wearing original pale pink cotton dress, bonnet, and long stockings Size: Approx. 15 inches tall Era: Circa 1930s–1940s Made in: Toronto, Canada Condition: Good vintage condition with gentle wear from age.
