Vintage German Jaeger Hunter Smoking Pipe – Carved Stag & Antler

Beautifully detailed, authentic vintage German Jaeger (Hunter) style smoking pipe. This unique collector's piece features a hand-carved wooden bowl showcasing a prominent stag/deer head amidst forest foliage. The stem assembly is highly ornate, constructed with genuine antler/bone textures, a horn-style mid-section, and a curved black mouthpiece. It comes complete with its traditional green decorative cord and dual hair tassels. Details & Markings: Bowl Engravings: Features the text "Alouette" stamped on the side of the briar bowl. The metal rim holds a hinged, ventilated wind cap. Stem Details: Stamped with "BRUYERE M&T GARANTIE" near the metal connector fitting. Base Markings: The black hexagonal base is stamped with "D.R.G.M." (Deutsches Reichs-Gebrauchs-Muster), indicating a historic German registered design. Condition: Great vintage/antique shape with fantastic natural patina. The wood carving is crisp, and the hinged lid works perfectly.
