Elgin National Coffee Mill Grinder
$750
Found this gem while cleaning out my grandma’s house. I remember as a child turning the wheel each morning for her percolator ! This would be so cool in an independent coffee house- great way to display a piece of history !
Up for sale is a stunning piece of American industrial history: an Antique Elgin National Coffee Mill dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century.
These iconic, heavy-duty cast iron grinders were staple fixtures in historic country mercantile stores and dry goods shops.
The prominent flywheel feature crisp embossed lettering reading "Elgin National Coffee Mill". This grinder serves as a striking statement piece perfect for a rustic kitchen, coffee shop decoration, antique collection, or a farmhouse interior.
Condition DetailsPaint/Finish: Repainted in a classic patriotic red, white, and blue theme. The paint shows some wear, lending it an authentic rustic look.
Mechanism: The hand crank turns smoothly, and the grinding wheels and internal mechanism are fully intact.
Missing Parts: Please note that the catch-drawer/receiver box at the base is missing, which is very typical for these antique models.
