This is a unique piece of art made from a roofing slate tile. The image depicts Vieux Carré in New Orleans. The slate is about 175 years old and was mined in Pennsylvania and transported down the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. It originally came from an old building in the Vieux Carré dating back to the 1800s
