Vizio 55" 4K UHD Smart TV image flaw #freecycle

Update: Some people expressed interest in the TV while I was out of town. I have uploaded photos of screen images while in a dark room. These photos appear brighter than what the images are in real life. If you look closely at each image you’ll notice a white glow in the lower half of screen. In person the entire image has a hazy look as if it’s a soap opera from the 80’s but darker. Once I set up my replacement tv I’ll contact the interested parties (in order) until someone claims and picks up. Too many no-shows on this app; you know who you are. The Vizio D55-F2 has a great image and sound quality at a very competitive price compared to makers such as Samsung and LG. The Smartcast software works seamlessly with any other smart device. However, the honeymoon ends a little over 5yrs later. At least 2 backlight strips died in the upper half of the screen resulting in a darkened look to all images. I adjusted the backlight and brightness levels to 100% which makes the image brighter but with a hazy fog look. So sad because the repair cost would be high and a total TV replacement makes better financial sense. The TV is still viewable despite its flawed state.
