Vintage Sony VAIO All-in-One Desktop PC (Works)

vintage early-2000s Sony VAIO All-In-One desktop computer (Model: PCV-W700G). This unique machine features the classic folding metallic keyboard deck and integrated side speakers, perfectly capturing the millennium / Frutiger Aero tech aesthetic. System Specs: • OS: Windows Vista Home Basic System Specs: • OS: Windows Vista Home Basic RAM: 1.00 GB Hard Drive: 200 GB Western Digital HDD Optical Drive: Built-in Sony DVD-RW Drive (Tested and working! plays DVDs natively via VLC player). Missing original mouse so I’m including black /silver HP USB Optical Mouse. The computer boots up. The built-in folding keyboard types and tracks. The decorative plastic trim along the bottom edge of the folding keyboard panel shows peeling and flaking due to age on one side on the other side it’s completely missing. (visible when the keyboard is folded closed up against the screen). There is also a light vertical hairline scratch on the right side of the glass display panel that mostly blends in when the screen is powered on. The integrated side speakers work perfectly at normal listening volumes, but get a bit muffled if cranked up very high due to aging speaker cones. The internal CMOS battery is original and dead from age (very common for 20+ year old PCs). On startup, it will ask you to press F2 to enter the BIOS menu to bypass the time reset warning, but once you exit, it boots right into Windows without issue. Excellent piece of computing history for a retro enthusiast, nostalgic collector, or a unique period-correct display prop. $135 O.B.O. I’m located near Chicago ave and western on Chicago’s 60622 zipcode.
