Wooden Dresser with Drawers

This is an English Georgian mahogany bachelor's chest with a flip top writing surface and bracket feet. It features three main drawers with hand-cut dovetails and original scribe marks. The top hinges open, and a slide can be flipped out to create a writing surface. Similar antique bachelor's chests often date from the 18th century, circa 1740-1790.
