Black Eyed Susan Plants

A collection of Black Eyed Susan plants. The Black-eyed Susan, also known as Rudbeckia, is a North American wildflower that is a popular garden flower. It is a perennial plant with daisy-like blooms that have a dark center and bright petals in shades of yellow, gold, bronze, red, or mahogany: Black-eyed Susans are easy to grow and can tolerate a wide range of soils, heat, and drought, but they don't like wet, poorly-drained soil. They prefer full sun and can be sown directly into the soil after the last frost. Black-eyed Susans have a long bloom time that attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. The late season seed heads also attract birds like finches.
