Laura’s First Day of School by Brigitte Deval 1990 Georgetown Collection. Laura is a little schoolgirl on her first day of school. She is wearing period clothing from the late nineteenth or early 20th century and has a leather book bag slung from her right shoulder. With her left hand she offers her new teacher the traditional apple. Beautifully detailed and nicely constructed with soft body and porcelain legs, arms and head. 18” Tall & never on display, and is therefore still New. When she is on display, she will look like the 1st picture. Laura comes with an apple for the teacher, a stand and her own satchel as a book bag. Possibly missing Letter of authenticity. Part of a large estate sale where dolls were in storage. Mold has been broken, so this model is discontinued from further mass production.
