Overdrive Cicena Classic Portable Radio Cassette Player 1991

Vintage 1991 Overdrive Cicena Classic Portable AM/FM/Stereo Radio/Cassette Player. This retro boombox emulates a 1950's American car dashboard, with a light-up radio dial resembling a speedometer. The design is often compared to '55-'57 Chevy or '58 Corvette car dashes. It features a cream and red color scheme, a steering wheel-shaped handle, and a "dashboard" that lights up channel numbers in orange for FM and red for AM. Fully tested: The stereo turns on and stations come in clear. The antenna extends and retracts smoothly. The dashboard lights up when the radio is on. The cassette player works, but the tape pulled out from the cartridge, so further testing wasn't possible. It played sound until the tape unraveled. It may need cleaning or the cassette tape was defective. The cassette eject door opens and closes with a little guidance. Features include auto-stop, pause, eject, tape counter, bass/treble control, LED power/stereo indicators, and a headphone port. Powered by AC cord or 8 "D" batteries.
