Chippendale Style Dining Chair- Set of 7

Beautiful set of seven vintage dining chairs by Old Colony Chair Co. of Rockford, Illinois: one armchair and six side chairs. The chairs feature graceful Queen Anne–style silhouettes, tall pierced splat backs, cabriole legs, and beautifully carved ball-and-claw feet. The warm, natural wood finish has wonderful depth and highlights the grain rather than covering it with a heavy, glossy coating. Exceptionally well-preserved vintage condition. The chairs show no apparent wear from regular use, and the frames remain remarkably clean. The high-quality woven floral upholstery is also beautifully preserved, with no visible stains, fading, or wear. A few chairs have small creaks, they do not affect the stability or use of the chairs and not visible. Otherwise, the set is in unusually pristine condition for it age. Selling only as a complete set. Pickup in Evanston.
