Corning Ware Spice of Life 1.5 Qt Casserole Dish w/ Pyrex Lid

This is a vintage CorningWare casserole dish in the popular Spice of Life pattern, produced between 1972 and 1987. This piece features the L'Echalote (French for "shallot") design, with earth-toned vegetable graphics and cursive script. The dish is made of Pyroceram, a glass-ceramic material resistant to thermal shock and safe for use in the oven, microwave, and freezer. Model A-1 1/2-B (1.5 quart/liter) with Pyrex lid P-7-C. Pieces with cursive script like this are from the earlier "French Spice" production run. Pickup is 58th and 7th Ave in midtown Manhattan.
