In the exact year of this piece, the artist founded the Niagara School of Art. This piece is titled "Happy Valley (Nipissing Ontario)" and beautifully captures a serene, sunlit Northern Ontario winter landscape. It features a rustic fence line guiding the eye across pristine snow toward a dense treeline beneath a soft, dramatic sky.The artwork comes beautifully housed in a classic, multi-tiered dark wood frame with clean white matting. The reverse side features incredible provenance, including an attached official artist biography and a handwritten inscription, title, date, and full signature by the artist himself. The piece is framed behind glass and is matter. The frame is tiered dark-stained wood frame with a hanging wire installed. Dimensions of frame: 30cm max. width; 15cm max. width; and 4cm max. depth. Excellent vintage condition. The painting shows vibrant color retention with no visible fading, moisture damage, or foxing.
