This is an authentic antique brass and metal personal savings bank issued by The Bank of Vancouver (Savings Department). ​The Bank of Vancouver operated only from 1910 to 1914, making surviving memorabilia from this short-lived financial institution extremely scarce and highly collectible. ​Details & Specifications: ​Institution: Savings Department - The Bank of Vancouver ​Maker: Bankers Service Corp., New York (Patented 1904/1909) ​Serial Number: Stamped #4830 on top plate ​Design: Heavy steel oval body with oxidized finish, brass front nameplate, top coin slot marked "FOR COIN ONLY", and bottom keyhole mechanism. ​Condition: Original vintage condition with heavy, authentic patina.
