Vintage Dominion Marathon Roller Skates — Made in Canada — 1970s Genuine vintage Dominion Canada roller skates, fitted with Marathon plates — made in Brampton, Ontario back when Dominion was still manufacturing here at home. These are a real piece of Canadian skating history from a brand that's now discontinued. solid no cracks, no bends, perfect to just put on a fresh pair of boots and be gliding in no time. Wheels: Metaflex Easy Rider — a classic 70s rink wheel, still rolls smooth. No grinding or chunks you can hear in the wheels and they spin freely they dont get jammed up or stop. All rubber seals on the trucks are in good condition no cracks. Not dryed out. Still operational. Boots: Honest condition — plenty of wear and age showing on the leather/interior (see photos), so I'm listing these as a project pair or for the plates/wheels themselves. Great for a rebuild, display piece, or parts. Estimated era: mid-to-late 1970s. Selling as whole pair for the person thats wants to take on a project and have a piece of canadian history to ride along with.
