San Francisco Cable Car Salt and Pepper Shakers

Add a wonderful piece of retro travel kitsch to your collection! This is a classic vintage 1960s–1970s ceramic San Francisco Cable Car novelty salt and pepper shaker set. Made in Japan. This clever "interlocking" set is designed so that each shaker forms exactly one-half of a trolley car. When pushed together, they complete the vehicle display. It features beautiful relief molding showing detailed passengers, and is finished in a vibrant, glossy olive green and gold drip glaze. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The dividing edges are completely clean with no chips or "flea bites" from rubbing together, and the original bottom stoppers are fully intact. • Size: Measures approximately 2 inches tall.
