Hp15 notebook windows 8. 500 GB hard drive. 4. Gigs of RAM

This is an older computer Windows 8. It has a 500 GB hard drive and 4 gigs of RAM. It runs perfectly but it needs to be plugged in while running because the battery is no longer good. I thought someone would be able to use it as a fix me upper or someone could load Windows 11 into it because it has enough memory and RAM to hold Windows 11. I just do not know how to do the upgrade. But it is also good for simple things like writing notes or browsing the web
