Decorative Storage Trunk-in need of tlc

Would make a cute small coffee table or unique side table. Lots of storage. The trunk in good working condition and has nice detailing on the bottom and handles. The top inlay is in need of TLC. It could easily be wallpapered over with peel and stick. I have some if you’re interested, but I’m not sure if it will match the trunk.
