Vintage handmade and framed straw marquetry folk art from the 60s/ 70s, featuring a stylized cabin landscape with trees and mountains on a black background. A charming mid-century modern piece, stamped on the back indicating it was made in Swarzędz, Poland. Piece is framed under glass to protect the delicate straw work, and is ready to hang with a mounting wire pre-installed. The frame is a classic mid-century industrial style frame in black and silver. Perfect for cabin decor, MCM interiors, rustic spaces, or collectors of European folk art. It is in good vintage condition with signs of age and some wear - there are light marks visible on the black background and some superficial scratches on the glass. One top corner of the frame has separated slightly at the joint but it is not very noticeable when displayed.
