Vintage Talavera Ginger Jar - Calla Lily Motif

A vintage Mexican Talavera ginger jar (tibor), a traditional form of tin-glazed earthenware. Features a hand-painted calla lily motif, a staple of Mexican folk art, set against vibrant cobalt blue and green glazes. Approx. 9.5 inches in max height (from base to lid handle); max width 5.5 inches; and opening width of 3.5 inches. Excellent preloved condition, with no obvious chips, cracks or repairs (see photos).
