This plate showcases Royal Crown Derby's celebrated "Traditional Imari" 2451 pattern, which balances historic Japanese export aesthetic with classic Edwardian elegance.The plate features a gently fluted, scalloped edge decorated with intricate geometric fish-scale grids, stylized asymmetrical clouds, and beautiful floral peony motifs. The central white medallion is crisply molded with a subtle embossed floral sunburst texture.
The reverse bears the clear, green stamped Royal Crown Derby factory mark used mid-century, alongside the hand-painted pattern code "2451" and the definitive capital letter "V" date cipher, confirming its manufacture in 1957.
