The two pieces come together with a hook. I paid approximately $6,500 for the couch itself when I had purchased it and it is practically brand new (the undercovering to not show the wood construction underneath, was torn during the moves, but that’s easily replaceable with a piece of fabric and a staple gun if it does bother you. It didn’t bother me at all cause you don’t see it, but I just wanted to be honest), as I’ve only used it in office spaces and have barely sat in it over the course of owning it. My pride and joy is in this couch ️, however I’m moving to a smaller location and it’s just too big to bring with me into the next phase of life. Looking to give it a good home.
