Last two photos show the iPod in one of the the included cases, the scratches are on the case not the iPod. iPod comes 6 cases, one is a hardshell with two different colored faceplates, 4 leather cases, and an arm band case. Works flawlessly, battery is strong. No scratches or wear on the unit.
