An Edwardian-era Bible study manual published by the YMCA's Association Press in 1908, structured as twenty-four lessons for students' Bible classes and built around the extended metaphor of the Christian life as a footrace - hence the striking pictorial cover of a runner. Condition - Good. Antiquarian, 118 years old. Maroon cloth boards with pictorial paste-on label to front; label is soiled and spotted with ink and a pink stain. Cloth rubbed with small scuffs, spine ends and corners frayed, remnant of a red/white sticker on rear board. Interior clean and tight with light foxing and a tan damp-stain to one contents page.
