Epiphone Dave Rude Flying V - read description So it's the Dave Rude signature model. But its been heavily modified by previous owner. Hence the price. I was thinking of trying to bring this up to code myself, but I lack the time/patience to learn to do the wiring correctly. Maybe someone else wants a kick at this. Here is a run down of some of the mods: - weight relief. As you can see from the pics. Once you put the pickguard on you can't see it. But it feels light. - wiring is set to the pick up selector, one volume knob and a kill switch. - rear cavity as been added to provide easier access to the wiring. Comes with cover. - neck has had the finish sanded down on the upper and lower part of the neck. - contour cut has been added to the back for a better rest. - parts of the finish between the frets have been sanded. Faint red dots added. - looks like he experimented with different positions for the strap knobs. It has the original pickguard, pick ups, gig bag/case and tuners. Luckily, the dude never touched the signature area of the headstock. This is meant for someone looking for a project guitar to work on, or a Rude fan looking for a cheap alternative. Guitar is gorgeous and light. Selling as is. No rush to sell. Ill likely keep it and maybe work on it later if it doesn't sell. If ad is up, it's still available. May be open to trades for other guitars or a bag of pedals.
