Chevy Equinox 2014 (engine light on)

2014 Chevrolet Equinox 1LT AWD SUV VIN: 2GNFLFEK9E6159037 Note: Engine light is on with reduced power. Mechanic took a look and replaced the timing chain tensioner. Metal filings found in screen of VVT Actuator. Mechanic charged about 4000 CAD to fix but my hubby would rather spend that towards downpayment of a new car. No issues reported on CarFax report (https://vhr.carfax.ca/?id=obEfHrOJXPf7gIdFtoPyeLcyR/5CDecO) We would like to sell this car to someone who can repair the engine and use it. Please note that the car was drivable but at a low speed. CASH ONLY
