Famous Russian artist Boris Kustodiev’s print of his 1907 painting titled “School House in Moscow.” Signed by the artist to the bottom right. Boris Kustodiev (1878-1927) was a famous Russian artist known for his vivid depictions of traditional Russian lifestyle. This print depicts a traditional classroom scene inside a historic wooden log structure capturing how children were educated in older Russian history. It was created as part of a historical educational series of prints published by Joseph Knebel. The original painting is housed in the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. Good condition. Any wear commensurates with the age. Art is approximately 8.5” wide and 7.5” long. Frame is approximately 12” wide and 11.3” long.
