Vintage silverplate swing-handle basket marked Wm. A. Rogers, "Silver on Copper," pattern 842, with lion crest and "B.M. MTS" pattern name on the underside. No "Ltd." on the mark, which points to production before Oneida's 1929 acquisition of the trademark — likely early 20th century, though an exact year isn't confirmed. Pierced, hand-engraved bowl on a pedestal base with a tall swing handle. Copper shows through at some high points and piercings, typical of honest age and wear.
