Antique Mezzotint (18th Century)

This mezzotint dates way back to 1799, making it 227 years old. It depicts a well dressed man on horseback, buying fish from a peasant woman, on the shoreline. I've only been able to locate one of these, and it currently resides in the British Museum. The colours are still bright and vibrant, and it's framed under glass. Measurements are: 22 1/4 x 28 3/4 inches. The image was engraved by J.R. Smith, after a painting by George Morland. Entitled: "Selling Fish". Extremely rare, historical item.
