Hand-Carved Northwest Coast Style Bird Wall Plaque

Hand-Carved Northwest Coast Style Bird Wall Plaque – Kitimat BC Beautiful hand-carved wooden wall plaque featuring a stylized bird in a Northwest Coast style design. The carving is mounted on a solid wood plaque measuring approximately 5 1/4" wide × 14 1/2" long. The bird is a substantial raised-relief carving with excellent detail, including the feathers, wing and facial features. The carving came from the Kitimat, BC area and I understand it was made by a local independent carver/artist. There is no signature or identifying mark, so the artist is unknown. A very attractive piece of West Coast artwork that would look great displayed in a home, cabin, office or collection. Dimensions: 5 1/4" W × 14 1/2" L Condition: Very good pre-owned/vintage condition with some natural variations and minor signs of age.
