Crafted from rich walnut with striking elm accents, it’s the perfect size for smaller living areas, condos, or entryways where both style and function are needed. The piece features two swing-open doors and three smooth-sliding drawers, offering generous storage for tableware, linens, or everyday essentials. While the maker’s mark is not present, the craftsmanship and solid construction are clear indicators of quality Canadian workmanship from the mid-century era. During restoration, the sideboard was completely stripped of its old finish and hand-sanded, carefully exposing the elm accents and highlighting the natural grain. Finished with a fine 320-grit sanding, the surface feels beautifully smooth and buttery to the touch. Note: In order to preserve the integrity of the veneer, a few subtle traces of the old finish remain. These small details do not detract from its beauty and instead reflect the authenticity of its vintage character.
