Limited edition plate (1986) from China National Arts & Crafts and master artisan Zhao Huimin. Based on the classic 18th century romance novel ‘A Dream of Red Mansions’ or Hung Lou Meng. Hsi-Chun, aka Jia Xichun, is represented in the fourth plate in the series. She is described as a gifted painter and a devout Buddhist. Plate is in excellent condition. Plate measures 8.5” across. Comes with original documents. The materials used in the plates are decorative and not suitable for serving food.
