Vintage Wade Whimsies - Old Woman in Shoe

This porcelain figurine is part of the Nursery Rhymes collection within the Wade Whimsies range. It was the last figurine issued as part of Set 4 in 1976. Wade Whimsies are miniature collectible figurines manufactured by George Wade & Son Ltd, a British pottery firm. These figurines became widely known through their inclusion as premiums in boxes of Red Rose Tea, particularly in North America, starting in 1967. The figurine depicts the old woman from the nursery rhyme sitting next to a large shoe that serves as her house. In very good, pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
