Rare Satin Cigarettes Advertising Tray

For sale is a stunning original Satin Cigarettes advertising tray, dating back to the early 1900s–1920s. This piece is a genuine example of early tobacciana advertising. Features a beautifully detailed Edwardian-era lady in a large black hat with a flowing blue bow. Slogan around the edge reads: “Aristocratic in Quality – Democratic in Price”. Displays a Satin Cigarettes pack, marked “Turkish Blend”, with the historic price of 20 for 15 cents. Lithographed tin with original gold-finish back. Diameter: approx. 40cm. Strong colours with only light surface wear consistent with age. Front litho retains strong detail and colour. Some age-related spotting and wear, but no major damage.
