Vintage Silver Sugar Basket with Glass Insert

Beautiful vintage silver-plated sugar or condiment basket by Standard Silver Co. Ltd., Toronto, Canada. Marked “EPBM” (Electroplated Britannia Metal) and numbered 4/46. Features a detailed repoussé tavern scene around the sides, three bun feet, and a decorative handle. Comes with its original cut glass insert with a starburst bottom. A lovely collectible piece of Canadian silverplate craftsmanship, likely dating from the 1930s–1940s. Perfect for serving, décor, or display. Pick up: Seton area, Calgary. See also my other lots.
