It was made by the Jacobs Bros. Co., Inc. in Brooklyn, NY, dating back to the late 1930s / 1940s. Unlike many decorative antiques, this scale is fully functional! The internal pointer needle moves smoothly and accurately, and the original sliding weight on the bottom bar is included. The dial face graphics are incredibly clean and easy to read on both sides. Features a heavy cast-iron body with its original industrial white porcelain enamel finish. It shows minor cosmetic wear consistent with its age, giving it a perfect authentic rustic look.
