Madagascar Palm (Pachypodium lamerei) - Monster Plant!

Amazing rare succulent. I regret having to part with it. Despite its name and appearance, it is neither a palm nor a cactus, though it looks like both (leaves at the top, spiny trunk). With care in the summer (sun, enough water) it grows quickly, with new growth also having leaves. In the winter, some leaves may drop, and so reduce watering. That produces the ‘palm’ appearance with leaves at top. I've had this for two years and it has grown from about 10cm to about 50cm tall now, exclusive of the pot (see gradations on 10 cm ruler). The pot is 20cm across. It is easy to care for. It is a fabulous plant. Check out my other plants, if you buy more than one, I can consider making a deal.
