Madagascar Palm (Pachypodium lamerei) - Monster Plant!

Amazing rare succulent. I regret having to part with it. Despite its name and appearance, it is neither a palm nor a cactus, though it looks like both (leaves at the top, spiny trunk). With care in the summer (sun, enough water) it grows quickly, with new growth also having leaves. In the winter, many leaves drop, and so reduce watering. That produces the ‘palm’ appearance with leaves at top. I've had this for two years and it has grown from about 10cm to over 40cm tall now, exclusive of the pot (gradations on ruler in pic 2 go to 10cm). The pot is 20cm across. It is easy to care for. It is a fabulous plant. Check out my other plants, if you buy more than one, I can consider making a deal.
