This gorgeous piece was completely stripped and washed with Grey Chalk paint Aged Grey. Ying and Yang stencil in Raw Silk and Lavender. The philosophical principle of Yin and Yang evolved into the idea that all things in the universe exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites. Or pairs of equal opposites that attract and complement each other. Less like “opposing forces”, and more “complimentary forces” The lotus flower commonly serves as a sacred for purity, rebirth, and strength. Because lotuses rise from the mud without stains, they are often viewed as a symbol of purity. This is a special piece with meaning during its rebirth.
