Stunning moissanite (aka Lab Diamond) ring.

Stunning square-cut moissanite (aka lab diamond) ring. Moissanite and diamond are both durable gemstones, but differ in composition, with moissanite made of silicon carbide and diamond of carbon. Moisssanite is as hard as a diamond and more brilliant than a diamond because there are no flaws. Only professional eyes can tell it is a lab-diamond because of it’s 99% identical profile, to a diamond. Moissanite is more affordable and has higher "fire" and brilliance (rainbow sparkle), while diamonds are harder but not by too much (10 on the Mohs scale vs. 9.25 for moissanite). In other words, it has almost the same hardness of a diamond and only a jeweller can tell the difference. (This is no zirconia!) The ring is in excellent condition because it is new.
