This is a 2008 Alvin Ailey Barbie from the American Dance Theater series by Mattel. The Barbie doll has brown hair and brown eyes, with an African American ethnicity. It is 11 1/2 inches tall and comes in its original unopened packaging as part of the Barbie Collector's line. This doll is part of the American Dance Theater collection and is considered a fashion doll. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of one of the world's premier modern dance companies, she was the first Barbie to be inspired by a dance company. She is brand new in box (SEE PICS).
