This is a spectacular Vintage JVC PC-R55W Boombox, often referred to as a ghettoblaster, made in Japan. These units are known for being incredibly well built and this one is in excellent condition and works perfectly. The sound quality is truly amazing—warm and rich, delivered by the original porcelain speakers. This unit is much more than a typical boombox; it's a portable receiver. It features dedicated Phono inputs, allowing you to connect a turntable and play vinyl, as well as separate speaker outputs for connecting additional, larger speakers if desired. It also has an aux input and a quality cassette deck. All functions work perfectly. Note that the original carry handle was removed back in the day and is not included.
