SAW MINICAD mk II DETECTOR Quick Identification of Trace Chemical Warfare Agents The SAW MiniCAD mk II Detector is a personal lightweight, solid-state chemical warfare agent detector for simultaneous detection of trace levels of nerve (G) and blister (H) agents. The SAW MiniCAD Detector is highly selective to these agents and is extremely resistant to false alarms. It operates from either standard off-the-shelf lithium batteries or a rechargeable battery pack and uses proven SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave sensor technology. The SAWMiniCAD Detector has set the standard for instrument ease of use and reliability. The unit operates properly, powering on without faults and passing a rigorous self test comprised of of several cycles of various operations. It concludes the self test procedure with the appropriate displays "SYS OK" and "ALL CLEAR". This unit has been cleaned, checked and equiped with four new DuraCell 123 Lithium batteries and with a new 12 volt recharceable wet cell battery. This offereing also includes the charger for the wet cell battery, a short probe, necessary cables, two soft-sided carry pouches for the unit and batteries, a color "Quick Guide" operations reference card and a fitted, impact resistant, waterproof carrying case.
